The Juice

Ingredients

For 1 oz / 50 ml
5 Carrots
2 Apples
0.5 inch Ginger
5 sprigs Parsley

Directions

Wash the produce before juicing.

From the carrots, remove the green part. No need to peel them.

If you don't have a juicer with a large chute, cut the apple into pieces.

Add the carrots and apples to the juicer. Also, add ginger to taste (I usually use one know for a glass).

If you have a masticating juicer add parsley. Otherwise consider adding your juice into a blender together with some parsley sprigs. Blend it and you done!

Carrots are great! Not only do carrots come with an abundance of important vitamins and minerals but they also add a nice sweet taste to your juice without too much sugar.

Is it better to eat whole carrots or drink the juice?

Generally, you’ll get more out of one carrot if you eat it because your body works best in absorbing all the nutrients from the carrot itself. However, the benefit of juicing carrots, or juicing in general, is that you can drink a lot more than you could eat in one sitting. It is way easier to drink 3 carrots than eating them.
